I am becoming a gym rat and my gym bag is my little bag of tricks. When heading off to get my fitness routine in, there are a few items that just must be in that gym bag or else I will suffer immensely. A great workout is necessary in maintaining proper health and happiness in my life. If I am missing just one of my must have items, my routine can get thrown way off track. So what is it that I cannot go to the gym without? I am going to share with you so that you can become the master of your own gym bag when you head off to get your fitness on.

• Quality Fitness Clothes – having the best yoga or workout pants to complete an active workout at the gym are a must. With my yoga pants, I find it easier to go commando.
• Supportive Shoes – nothing is worse than being at the gym with sore feet, I am there to get my fitness on, not deal with painful feet. I make sure my shoes have a good support and cushioning for when I am on the treadmill, my feet don’t feel that constant pounding.
• Upbeat Music – bringing along my MP3 player for upbeat music helps to keep me moving and in turn completing a successful fitness routine at the gym. Some of my favorite tunes are LMFAO “Sexy and I Know it” and Brittany Spears “Work Work.”
• Beach Towels – let’s face it, beach towels are much larger than the regular bathroom towels,. This means they can help dry me off after a sweaty workout better. At my gym, we have a ton of shower stalls, so getting fresh after a workout is a no brainer for me.
