I am so excited that Father’s Day is just round the corner. The kids and I love to spoil my husband Chris on his special day. He is such a laid back guy that it is almost (I stress the almost part) painful to watch him squirm from all the attention. I am lucky to have a husband who works so hard and is such an attentive father. This is the guy who chaperoned every one of the kid’s field trips, has driven Caitlin to and from school for the past 5 years and does it all with a smile. When Caitlin went to her junior prom, he sat in the parking lot and did the crossword puzzle…just in case Caitlin wanted to leave early! Chris is the main man on the grill, but on Father’s Day, I take over and make him his favorite White Queso Burger. This burger is as juicy as it is spicy and has become a favorite in our house.
White Queso Burger
We always make a double batch of the queso cheese sauce when we make the White Queso Burger. This way, we can dip chips or veggies into the queso chip dip while we are waiting for the burgers to cook. Not only is the cheese sauce better than the store bought version, it is way cheaper as well! Looking for a few other recipes for dad?
