Turn Personalized Christmas Ornaments Into Keepsakes
This is a sponsored post and I was compensated. However, all opinions are mine. When I was a kid, we always got a huge Christmas tree. Mom painstakingly chose the tree each year. It was always perfect.
Because most of our tree ornaments were handed down from many generations, my sister and I were not allowed to help decorate the tree. Mom wasn’t being mean. They were breakable and precious and it would have been awful to lose one to breakage!
Collecting Christmas Tree Ornaments
When I had my first child, I began to collect ornaments for my own family. When she was old enough, she helped choose one ornament for herself each Christmas. We have carried that tradition on with the two younger kids as well.
I think what I love most about doing this is to see how we have changed over the years. For Henry, we have moved from Winnie the Pooh at 3, to Spiderman at 10 to the gamer he is now at 16! We have such a collection of personalized Christmas ornaments!
They Grow Up So Fast!
Caitlin has grown into such a beautiful young woman! As a toddler, she could not get enough of Blue’s Clues. At 10, she was reading Junie B. Jones and listening to Kidz Bop.
Now she is in college and her favorite movie of all time is the Nightmare before Christmas. You should see how many of her Christmas gifts are Nightmare Before Christmas themed!
Music Is In Our Blood
Chelsea is now 30 and living on her own in Atlanta. If she isn’t here for the holidays, we choose an ornament we know she will love. Chelsea has always been my musical girl. Her dad and I both have a love of music.
She has played violin, guitar and ukulele for years. She also has the most beautiful voice you have ever heard! I knew she would love this music themed ornament from Personalized Ornaments For You.
For Chris, as most years, his ornament has a sports theme to it. This year was no exception. Go Giants! Personalized Ornaments For You has a ton of Christmas ornaments to choose from. You can find ornaments for your first home, your wedding anniversary, a new baby or to commemorate another special occasion.
