Berrylicious Yogurt Granola Pops

December 27, 2019 by Kelly 45 Comments

How excited are you for the unofficial start of summer to be here? To be honest, I have mixed feelings. We live in the south, so it can be hotter than blazes in May. We will ride that summer heat wave straight through to September or even October. My kids are teens, so they would prefer to be inside on their computers or game consoles instead of playing outside. When they do go out, it is usually after dinner to ride their bikes or scooters. When it is that hot, you have to find ways to cool everyone off. One way is a delicious frozen treat like my Berrylicious Yogurt Granola Pops!

Can I tell you how darn good these Berrylicious Yogurt Granola Pops are? The kids cannot get enough of them, and honestly, I don’t really mind. As far as frozen yummies go, these are healthier than most. With the fresh fruit, granola and yogurt, these are a treat I can feel good about giving the kids. And with my working on losing this 80 pounds, they are a treat I can have without the guilt. Oh, and did I tell you how easy they are to make? You just need a few ingredients and supplies and you have a delicious frozen treat in a few hours!

Berrylicious Yogurt Granola Pops ingredients

Berrylicious Yogurt Granola Pops

1 bag of frozen (or fresh) mixed berries
1 cup of yogurt (we used Vanilla)
2/3 cups sugar
¼ cup honey
½ cup granola
8 small Dixie Cups
8 small wooden popsicles
8 pieces of foil, cut to be slightly larger than the opening of the cup

In a food processor, blend your berries. Add your yogurt, sugar and honey. Blend well. Add the granola and blend well again. Fill your Dixie cups about 2/3 of the way up. Cover with your foil and fold it over the cup. Gently insert the sticks about ¾ down into the cup. Freeze for at least 2 hours.

Berrylicious Yogurt Granola Pops final

Take out of the freezer peel off the paper cup and enjoy!

Those look delicious! I love that you added oatmeal. That helps slow the digestion of the sugars, to keep your blood sugar from spiking.

Oatmeal does have so many awesome health benefits. I would never have thought to add it to homemade pops either, but this is great!

I put oatmeal and granola in smoothies all the time, so why not a pop? It makes perfect sense.
