Double Chocolate Mint Oreo Cheesecake Recipe
An Easier Way To Make Cheesecake
To make it easier, I am using the Easy Bath Cheesecake Wrap. I love it because it is made from food-safe silicone, but it isn’t flimsy! It can fit from an 8” to a 9.5” pan.
And it isn’t just for cheesecakes, You can use it for anything you would make in a springform pan. Because it doesn’t leak, you have virtually no cleanup!
So, now to make that deliciously decadent Double Chocolate Mint Oreo Cheesecake Recipe! Now listen…don’t be intimidated if this is your first time making a cheesecake. This recipe may have several steps, but they are easy to follow and quick to complete.
I was quite surprised to find how easy it actually was to make a cheesecake! My sister told me to just take each step carefully and it would make the perfect cheesecake. After I made this recipe, I found the next one was extremely simple to make!
Here is what you need to make your cheesecake:
• 1 package of Mint Oreo Cookies, divided

Here Is What To Do For The Crust:
Preheat oven to 325. In a food processor, add 3/4 of a package of Mint Oreo cookies and sugar. Pulse until crumbs are fine. Melt butter in microwave. Add cookie mixture to butter and mix well.
Spray springform pan with vegetable spray and line bottom with parchment paper. Press crust mixture into bottom and up the sides of the pan. Bake for 10 minutes and remove.
Here Is What To Do For The Filling:
Reduce oven to 300. In microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate on medium heat until melted. In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer, add cream cheese, sour cream, heavy whipping cream, vanilla, mint extract, and sugar and blend on low until fluffy.
Add in your flour cocoa powder until fully incorporated. Add in the eggs in one at a time until just barely beaten.
Now For The Pan:
Pour half of the cheesecake filling into springform pan. Sprinkle the chopped Oreos and pour remaining filling over cookies. Smooth with spatula.
Place Easy Bath Cheesecake Wrap into the roasting pan. Place springform pan into the wrap and fill the roasting pan with tap water to the fill line on the silicone wrap.
Now For The Baking:
Bake at 300 for one hour. Turn off oven and open door about 6” and leave for one hour. Remove from oven and pan from water bath. Place on counter for one hour and then in refrigerator overnight.
The next morning, carefully open springform pan and remove the bottom. Carefully peel the parchment paper from around the cheesecake. As you peel the parchment paper from the bottom of the cheesecake, set it onto a plate.
Now For The Serving And Eating:
Cover the cheesecake and keep refrigerated until ready to serve. When you are ready to serve, cut with a knife that has been run under hot water and wiped dry. This makes it easier to get a clean cut.

My tip for making the perfect cheesecake is not to forget to bring your cream cheese to room temperature before using. My favorite cheesecake recipe is for a Black Forest Cheesecake! Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity!

I don’t have a recipe. I can not make one that turns out well. I just buy mine.

I don’t know of any tips for that. I like plain cheesecake and lemon cheesecake.

I actually hate cheesecake, but I’d use those silicone wraps to make the most delicious lemon-berry tart you’ve ever had.

I have never made a real cheese cake. I like a plain cheesecake topped with cherries as we as chocolate cheesecake.

I don’t make cheesecake too often, I’ve made it two or three times before. My tip is to use room temp cream cheese and don’t open the oven to check mid-baking.

I have never made a cheesecake. I’ve eaten plenty but never made one.
Thanks for the contest.

My tip for successful cheesecake is to make a no-bake version! Every other recipe I’ve tried has come out poorly.

I’ve never made a baked cheesecake but a pudding cheesecake. Now time to buy a springform pan so I can try to bake this awesome looking recipe for a cheesecake.

I haven’t made a cheesecake in awhile – but now I’m tempted to seeing your recipe and photos. My tip is to put 1/2 in the freezer after baking, so you don’t eat it all at once! You will love being able to pul it out of the freezer another week and dessert is ready.

I do not have a recipe for making the perfect cheesecake! To perfectly honest, I have only ever made the box kind that doesn’t require baking. It is what I grew up with and I think it is delicious! However, I am definitely going to have to try my lucky with your recipe, it sounds way too good to not make. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

Idk any tips I have never tried to make cheesecake before. My favorite recipe was my grandmother’s peanut butter cheesecake. I have never attempted to make it though.

I make a fabulous chocolate cheesecake. Rich and creamy. I love cheesecake in all its varieties. I try not to open the oven while it’s baking so the top won’t crack but if it does I cover it with a sweetened sour cream.

I wish I had good tips for making cheesecake. Mine always turn out to be dry or too wet. My favorite cheesecake is a key live cheesecake or coconut creme
Leela saysJune 10, 2018 at 3:53 pm
I make sure the cream cheese and eggs are room temperature before making the batter. It comes out much smoother that way without lumps.

I have tried every trick in the book to make a good cheesecake from scratch! Now I either buy mine or make a Jello no bake one.

I don’t really have a tip, except to always use the freshest ingredients. Strawberry cheesecake is my husband’s favorite.
I like the turtle cheesecake.
