My daughter, who lives out of state, usually visits 2 weeks before Christmas. This year, she stayed with us from Christmas Eve through that weekend. It was one of the best Christmases we have ever had! Now my family is gearing up for the big game in just a few weeks!
We are big football fans and I am gathering up my favorite game day recipes. One of my family’s favorite recipes are my Italian Chicken Florentine Tarts. They are a huge crowd pleaser and never last very long! Whenever we have people over, I always make these Italian Chicken Florentine Tarts. People are always so impressed with them because they look like something I may have bought from the local deli. Nope! I make them at home in less than 45 mins from start to finish! And because they are in one little bowl, they are easy and fun to eat! We have been known to skip the fork and pop them right into our pie holes!
The reason I love this recipe is because it is so dang easy and affordable! I make it with many ingredients we use on a regular basis. I always have frozen spinach on hand as well as eggs and milk. Because I am eating more healthy, I eat salads almost every day. I love how easy it is to just open the bag of Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken Breast Strips and add them to my salad. They are made with 100% All Natural Ingredients and White Meat Chicken. It makes for great added protein, they are uber delicious and go perfectly with the Wish-Bone® Italian Salad Dressing. My mouth is watering already!
Have you tried the Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken Breast Strips yet? If not, you are missing out! They are ready to go for whatever you have in mind. We use them in salads, tacos, burritos, fajitas, soups as well as on their own. Yes, they are that good! And because they are fully cooked, they make a great snack for my post workout. I just wrap them in some bibb lettuce, and I am good to go! I get them from my local Kroger and for me, they are located in between the deli and the meat section. They were super easy to find and were even on sale, so I stocked up!
OK, so for this recipe, I have combined two of my favorite salad ingredients; Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken Breast Strips and Wish-Bone® Italian Salad Dressing. I have been using the Wish-Bone® Italian Salad Dressing for years now. And it is not just for salads either! It makes a great marinade too! As I said, this recipe is super easy to make! I open the bag of Tyson® strips and toss it with the Wish-Bone® dressing. While they are getting acquainted, I beat the eggs, add the milk, spinach and peppers and blend them. Then I just add the Tyson® strips and fill the pastry shells. I pop them in the oven and they are ready to go in just 30 minutes, which I love!
If you are making this for a party, I suggest you make a lot! I am not kidding when I say they get gobbled up within minutes of my putting them on the table! If I make them for my family, I serve them with some salad, topped with my favorite Wish-Bone® Italian Salad Dressing! And talk about delicious! OH Em Gee you guys! These are so good! It is seriously hard for me to stop at just two so I can stay on my food plan! To help me stay on my healthy food plan, I found a ton of recipes that incorporate the Tyson® Grilled & Ready® Chicken Breast Strips and Wish-Bone® Italian Salad Dressing.

January 9, 2016 at 10:14 amThose little pastry shells are adorable! Things taste better when they’re in cute little single-size servings. And having it already pre-portioned means I’m not going to gobble up an entire pan. But I may need two (or four) of these tarts. They sound awesome.
