This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine. My daughter Caitlin graduated from high school this May. We could not have been more proud of her accomplishments. And to sweeten the story, she is college bound this fall. She will be the 3rd person in our family to ever attend college. The other two were my oldest daughter in 2009 and myself in 2011. To celebrate the occasion, we wanted to take her and the rest of our family out for a memorable meal.
When I asked Caitlin where she wanted to eat, she immediately said The Hard Rock Cafe Pigeon Forge! We have been fans of the Hard Rock chain for more than 20 years! We took my oldest, Chelsea to the Hard Rock Cafe Orlando when she was five. She sang and danced throughout the entire meal! On a trip to Atlanta, our hometown, we took the gang to the Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta. I will never forget the whole table standing up and dancing to Y.M.C.A. Hilarious!
If you have not been to a Hard Rock location, you need to remedy that ASAP! The kids and I are huge music buffs, so when we are at the Hard Rock, we are in heaven! Each location boasts an impressive music memorabilia collection.
You can find clothing, guitars, drums and other items used and donated by music legends. You will feel like family the moment you enter the building. The host staff is so upbeat and friendly! We waited less than 5 minutes for our table. No problem! It gave us time to visit the Hard Rock shop!
Henry wanted me to tell you his joke. He said if you are looking for memorabilia that is “Hard” Rock, they have an item. He thinks you would love this leather jacket from Megadeath. That is his favorite “Hard” rock band. Silly boy! But it was cool to see. One of the hosts allowed us to go behind the ropes to examine the jacket and get a closer look. The jacket is also signed by all the band members!
So, lets talk about the food! Hard rock may have a reputation for it’s rock and roll theme, but the food is where it’s at! We ordered an appetizer for the table. The Jumbo Combo, gives you a taste of several of their most popular appetizers. It includes their signature wings, onion rings, and Tupelo chicken tenders. You also get their Southwest spring rolls and bruschetta. It comes with homemade honey mustard, hickory barbecue and blue cheese dressings. There was plenty for our party of six to sample.
Next, we ordered our main dishes. It is tough to narrow down your decision are there are so many choices. Caitlin and my husband both had the Twisted Mac and Cheese, which is Amazeballs! They toss Cavatappi macaroni in a three-cheese sauce with roasted red peppers. It is topped with Parmesan parsley bread crumbs and grilled chicken breast. It also comes with garlic bread. My husband substituted their Smokehouse pulled pork for the grilled chicken breast. It was a wise choice!
I decided to have a salad. Again, so many choices make it difficult to decide. I finally asked our server for help. She said the Southern Salad was the way to go. So happy for her suggestion. It was hands down, the best salad I have ever had. It includes fresh field greens and kale. They are tossed in a cider vinaigrette. It is garnished with vine-ripened tomatoes, bacon, and roasted corn. You also get pecans and a sliced hard boiled egg. Their Southern fried chicken, is the best I have ever had. Seriously good! The tangy barbecue drizzle is a nice addition.
Henry and my mother-in-law chose the Hard Rock Legendary® Burgers. Each of their fresh half-pound burger is made with the highest quality Certified Angus Beef®. The blend is created especially for Hard Rock. it is grilled medium well and served on fresh brioche bun with seasoned fries. Henry loves the fries so much, he asked for more! My sister-in-law Robin chose the New York Strip Steak. This was the juiciest steak ever! The 12-oz steak is seasoned and fire-grilled. It is topped with herb butter and served with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes. It also comes with seasonal vegetable.
I recommend you save room for dessert! I decided on the Cheesecake, made with Oreo® cookie pieces. It is creamy, moist and flavorful cheesecake. The generous portion of Oreo® cookies which are baked into the cheesecake and the decadent Oreo® cookie crust. The slice is so big, you cannot help but share! Robin decided on the homemade apple cobbler. Thick apples are baked in a variety of spices. It is served warm with vanilla ice cream. On top comes walnuts and GHIRARDELLI® caramel sauce. Oh.Em.Gee!
You cannot leave the Hard Rock without one of their signature glasses! Caitlin ordered a chocolate milkshake. It is made with BBen & Jerry’s® ice cream. It is served in a souvenir 23 oz. hurricane glass. When you are ready to leave, you just take your glass to the bar and they will give you a fresh glass, in a Hard Rock box. Don’t you love Caitlin on her phone?! Typical teen, right?!

A great meal at Hard Rock after a long day of fun at Pigeons Forge sounds amazing! I think it’s time for us to get back up to Pigeon Forge.
I love hard rock cafés. I would love to visit this one if I get to the area!
We haven’t been to Pigeon Forge in forever. Hard Rock wasn’t even there the last time we were out that way. I’d love to take another trip out there. The kids are old enough to really enjoy it.
I’ve never been down to Pigeon Forge, so I had no idea that hard rock café there. In a couple of years we are planning a trip down that way so I will definitely check them out when I get there.
All of the food looks amazing and I want that milkshake. I will make sure go the next time I am in the area.
Wow looks like a great place to go to. I know I have been to Hard Rock’s before, they serve great food and have excellent decor to enjoy. Loving all that you shared here and those memorable photos are amazing.
It looks so fun to visit. I wouldn’t turn down that cheesecake right now either.
This looks amazing! Me and my family love to go to the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood. Their food is always so good!
What a fun time! I have never been to Pigeon Ford (it’s on my bucket list). Surprisingly enough, I’ve never been to a Hard Rock Cafe either, despite there being one downtown in my city. I keep wanting to try it though!
This great meal makes me want to go to the Hard Rock near me. Congrats to the graduate and it really looks like she made the best of that special dinner.
Never been here, but it looks FABULOUS!!!!! Love all the food pics especially!
This seems like such a cool place for the music history alone. I’m glad the the food is really good too! Another reason to visit!
I love Hard Rock! So much history and great food!
This place looks mega fun! I would love to visit with my husband and have a few drinks!
I haven’t been to a hard rock since I was little. We have one close by. I need to go. It looks like y’all had a good time.
I have always wanted to go to a Hard Rock Cafe sometime. I just wish there was one that was actually near me. Hopefully when I take a vacation I’ll be able to find one.
The Hard Rock Cafe is amazing. All the music memorabilia and the food is delicious.
That cheesecake is to die for. I would love to take in the music history at the Hard Rock.
The food is good, the music is good, the aura is amazing! You cannot go wrong with dining at a Hard Rock Cafe! I’m glad you had an amazing time there!
Wow, I did not not know it was that good. I just moved from Atlanta and never went to the cafe there. If I go back, I will have to stop and have a meal there. Thank you for the review and tell Caitlin congratulations on the graduation.
That Oreo Cheesecake is calling my name! Hard rock café has always been on my to visit list.
We haven’t been on a vacation in forever! A trip to Pigeon Forge sounds just right!

We used to go to Pigeon Forge all the time growing up! I haven’t been in ages and I may just have to go back because Hard Rock Cafe looks awesome!
I’m a huge a fan of the Hard Rock Cafe I’ve reviewed three locations on my website. My favorite dessert is the Oreo Cheesecake soooo delicious. Adding Pigeon Ford to my list.
I haven’t visited the Pigeon Forge location, but we love the one here in Orlando! It’s perfect after visiting Universal Studios before heading home! They do have some yummy appetizers!
The food looks amazing but the most important thing is you get to spend a lovely time with family. Nothing beats bonding over a delicious meal. Hard Rock Cafe always promises a great dining experience.
Congratulations! I love that you were able to celebrate this milestone together. It’d be fun if Hard Rock was the standard for college-bound lunches from now on. It’d be a fun tradition.
Looks like a fun and yummy place. Congrats to your daughter.
This looks like a great place to eat and lots of fun too for the whole family!
Just when I thought Pigeon Forge couldn’t get any better, I read a review about another great thing to do and enjoy there!! We have a Hard Rock Cafe in Chicago & it ROCKS! Good food, music, atmosphere, shopping and more!!
This is a great place to visit and stop for a bite wherever you are!
Wow this is simply awesome…
Pigeon Forge is one of our favorite family destinations. We will have to check out the Hard Rock Cafe next time.
I’ve never been to Pigeon Forge (have been wanting to go), but I do know the Hard Rock Cafe. I love the Chicago location. The first time I ate there was when my oldest daughter landed a part with the Joffrey Bellet their first year in Chicago. After her rehearsals, we’d just wander around the city, enjoying the sights, sounds, people, and of course, food. We had tried to go to the Rainforest Cafe, but the wait time was over 2 hours. The Hard Rock was right by them, so we ended up going there. It quickly became a favorite place for us to eat. I haven’t been there for a while. I really need to get back!
We are going to Pigeon forge with friends. This is on our list places to see. Thank you for telling me about it.
I’ve only been to the HRC here in Denver. Haven’t been to any others. It’s a fun place.
This place looks like so much fun. I love the decor. And you posted some wonderful pics of the food. It all looks fabulous. I need to find one near me.
We haven’t been to Hard Rock Cafe. It does look like such a fun experience! I would never have thought of this, but wow, this post does it justice, and now I want to go! The food looks so good, too!
I need an occasion to visit Pigeon Forge. I’ll know at least one place to eat.
Great place for a party. Good food, good music.
Looks like good food and fun! The Oreo Cheesecake looks pretty amazing too. One day hopefully I’ll eat at the Hard Rock Cafe.
It looks so fun and the food looks tasty! Pigeon Forge is a great place for vacation–we love that area!
They do have good food and good fun.
The food looks incredible! I am a huge music fan, and I’m loving all the memorabilia. I love that the table got up to do the YMCA dance. I teach group fitness at the YMCA. 🙂
Every time I revisit this post, I want to go more and have some of that wonderful food. I need to make time to go.
