I got Irish running through my veins. My grandfather, Thomas O’Finnerty, came to America on a boat from Ireland. He wanted to blend in, so he decided to change his last name. He chose the surname English. l find the irony in that amusing. My husband also has Irish blood. To say w throw down on St. Patrick’s Day would be an understatement! When it comes to our favorite liquor to savor after a long day, we love a glass of Irish whiskey. Our favorite brands is Jameson.
For St. Patty’s Day, I decided to make a fun cocktail using Jameson Irish Whiskey. I came up with the Jameson Whiskey Sour Apple Fizz Cocktail. I love the balance between the sour of the Dekuyper Sour Apple Pucker and the honey. It has been a great hit at a recent St. Patrick’s Day party we hosted. This is a great signature cocktail for your next party. It is so easy to make and it goes perfectly with my Irish Bangers and Mash recipe!
