Five Fantastically Flavored Ice Cube Recipes

This is a sponsored post, for which I was compensated. However, all opinions are 100% mine. Are you getting enough water every day? I drink water like nobody’s business, but sometimes I feel it isn’t enough, especially when it is this dang hot outside. The thing is, I get tired of drinking the same old water every single day. Can you relate? I know a lot of people like to change-up their water by adding some flavor to it. For example, you can mix in those store-bought flavor powders to give your H20 a nice kick (and sometimes, a new color!)

I prefer to add fresh fruits, veggies or herbs, like they do at the spa. I am all about those infused water ice cubes. There’s nothing like gulping down a cool, glass of water with flavored ice cubes to give my drink a new, and often subtle taste. There are so many combinations! I have fun getting creative, especially with the kids help! They come up with some crazy pairings!

Five Fantastic Infused Ice Cube Flavors

Five Fantastically Flavored Ice Cube Recipes lemon

Lemon Ice: So simple, yet, such a classic. Lemon water is a very popular way of having your H20, and it was just so natural to start using it for my infused water ice cubes. I love cutting large slices of the lemon so you can see it clearly through the cubes – it can really liven up a pitcher of water and give it a nice, citrus-y kick.

Five Fantastically Flavored Ice Cube Rec gapefruit

Grapefruit And Cilantro: Orange and cilantro team up to add some “oomp” to your water. I find that the two pair so ell and give off the most delicious flavor profile. While you may think of orange and cilantro for your next chicken dinner, consider freezing it in your ice cubes: it’s so refreshing for the summer!

Five Fantastically Flavored Ice Cube Recipes strawberry

Strawberry And Basil: Basil has both a sweet and savory characteristic to it, which is why I love pairing it with extremely ripe strawberries for my infused ice cubes. Together, they give my water such an aromatic feel – it’ll definitely keep your water interesting!

Five Fantastically Flavored Ice Cube Recipes blueberry

Blueberry And Lemon: Now, if you don’t want too much of a citrus flavor to your water, adding in some blueberries to your ice cubes can sweeten up the mix! The blueberries will offset some of the tartness from the lemon. Plus, the color combination is just so beautiful (Let’s give an enthusiastic cheer for complementary colors. Yay!).

Five Fantastically Flavored Ice Cube Recipes cranberry

Cranberry-Orange: The smell of cranberries and oranges definitely remind me of the holiday season, but did you know that this aromatic combination works great in your ice water? The sweetness from the oranges pairs great with the sour flavor of the cranberries – you’ll get hints of fruity joy with these tasty ice cubes!

pH Balanced Water? Who Knew?!

Another way that I like getting my daily intake of H20 is by drinking alkaline water. In fact, many celebrities like Beyoncé, Miranda Kerr, and Elton John have claimed to be on board with alkaline water for all of its amazing health benefits. Alkaline88 is known to be “balanced hydration” as it achieves an 8.8pH level through a completely chemical-free process. This pH level is what’s needed for our bodies to function at its healthiest. Used with Himalayan minerals, Alkaline88 is all-natural with a superior and refreshing taste.
