When the warm spring weather is here to stay a while, we usually plan a few road trips. My son has autism, so we cannot fly with him, so we stick to vacation spots we can drive to. But, a road trip with kids is never easy. When they were younger, we had a lot of hair pulling, eyebrow raising and “are we there yet” scenarios. Thankfully, they are older, so they are much better. What we have experiences is how bored they can get.
