I am so dang ready for fall, aren’t you? We live in the south and our temperatures are still in the upper 80’s, but are supposed to start dropping soon. To get in the mood for fall and Halloween, I am going to make one of my favorite Fall/Halloween recipes and pretend it is already cooler outside! When I am crunching into one of these Chocolate Dipped Candy Caramel Popcorn Balls, I will sit in my air conditioned house, close my eyes, and pretend away!!
Chocolate Dipped Halloween Caramel Popcorn Balls
My kids could eat a mountain of these Chocolate Dipped Candy Caramel Popcorn Balls if I let them. They are sweet and crunchy and the melted chocolate and sprinkles give it an added level of sweetness. It also adds a little bit of fun, don’t you think? I am totally fine with plain caramel popcorn balls, but I enjoy making these Chocolate Dipped Candy Caramel Popcorn Balls. Well, the kids end up doing the dipping and sprinkling, so that part of the process eludes me most of the time.
If you have a party or school event you need to being a snack to, bring these Chocolate Dipped Candy Caramel Popcorn Balls. Kids and grown ups alike will fall in love with this twist on the classic recipe. You can make these any time of the year, but for me, the fall is when we make the most batches.
We also make them at Christmas, using white chocolate and Christmas colored sprinkles (spoilers!)If you want to wrap them individually, just get some clear wrap and a holiday ribbon and they make the cutest little gift. Anyway you wrap it, present it or eat it, they will be a family favorite!
