My kids are obsessed with anything red velvet and I think I know where they got it from! The rich dark red color and the decadently rich flavors are more than we can resist! If you add some milk chocolate and or peanut butter M&M’s, you have hit pay dirt! If you are a baker, you probably have most of the ingredients for this recipe in your pantry. If you do not want to make this from scratch, you can substitute a red velvet or chocolate cake or brownie mix. These brownies are so dang yummy, you will see them disappear as if by magic! If you want to take these to the kid’s school be sure to make extras or there may not be any left to share with the kids classmates and teachers!

I hate how brownies tend to stick to the pan, no matter what you use to spray or grease the pan. If you use the Cake Boss™ Deluxe 9-in. Nonstick Square Cake Pan, the brownies will fall right out and the pan cleans up extremely easily. You can buy the pan for just about $10 on Amazon, which is a huge bargain! These brownies are perfect with a glass of cold milk after you have eaten my Skinny Meatloaf Cupcakes With Mashed Potato Frosting Recipe!
