Celebrating National Reading Month With U.S. Cellular

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine. March is National Reading Month and I couldn’t be more excited. I am a self-proclaimed “book worm.” I love having my nose in a new novel. Even as a little girl,  I found great joy in taking a simple trip to the library. Cell phones and tablets have have made life convenient for many. I can do about anything with my iPad and iPhone 6 from U.S. Cellular. But who knew it would change my reading game? It is so much fun to celebrate National Reading Month with U.S. Cellular!

Smartphones, Tablets And Literature

90% of smartphone owners, including moi, never leave home without their device. Smartphones and tablets have the ability to carry an entire library. But not one made up of paper and ink! With technology, you access many forms of reading materials.

You can tap into books, magazines and school lessons right from the palm of your hands. Many of us are replacing a physical book for one that is digital. Instead of visiting my local bookstore, I can celebrate National Reading Month and read the latest best-sellers from my iPhone 6.

Apps For Modernized, Digital Reading

To celebrate National Reading Month, I urge you to use your smart device and get lost in a good read. It will be a literary game-changer. Here are some apps I suggest you use in order to facilitate your reading experience:

  • Flipboard is available on both the Apple Store and Google Play. See the news that you care about by personalizing it with your favorite topics.
  • NOOK gives you access to all the books you can imagine! I often refer to my NOOK app when I’m in need of a new story. NOOK provides its users with access to 4 million books, graphic novels, comics and magazines. It’s an app that’s also wonderful for children, as it provides age-appropriate reading material.
  • Reading Apps For Kids: The oh-so popular Hooked on Phonics is now available as a mobile app. Homer is also a popular reading app for children. They both cultivate a love of reading for children of various ages through games and videos.
