I took my daughter to get her new glasses yesterday. When we got in the car, the temperature gauge on the dashboard told me it was 107 degrees. Seriously?! I was afraid my flip flops were going to melt as we walked across the hot pavement of the parking lot! The first thing we wanted to do when we got inside the building was have a tall and cold drink.
