What’s great about this Lemon Sugar Cubes Body Scrub Recipe is the compact size of the cubes. They’re easy to store. You can place them in a small jar, a container, or even a zippy bag.
In fact, I brought these to my most recent weekend trip without any worries. I packed them in a small, plastic container and they were intact and ready to use once we arrived at our hotel.
Ingredients you will need to make your Lemon Sugar Cubes Body Scrub Recipe:
- 1 cup White Sugar
- 1/4 cup Coconut Oil
- 1/4 cup Shea butter
- 1 teaspoon Almond Oil
- 10-20 drops Lemon Essential Oil
- 1 teaspoon of yellow soap colorant
- Zest of 1 Lemon
- Mold
- Air tight container
Instructions to make your Lemon Sugar Cubes Body Scrub Recipe:
Step 1: In a large bowl, add white sugar
Step 2: Place the coconut oil in microwave until melted. Add coconut oil to the bowl.
Step 3: Add Almond Oil
Step 4: Add Shea Butter
Steps 5-6: Add essential oil(s). I ran out of lemon, so I used lemongrass, which I also love! Add soap colorant.
Step 7: Mix together until a thick paste is formed.
Step 8: Add lemon zest and press into a square mold. Allow to dry overnight.
Store your Lemon Sugar Cubes Body Scrub Recipe in an air-tight container until ready to use. Do not keep in hot temperatures as the coconut oil will melt.
