This post contains affiliate images. It happens every single year and yet I am perplexed when it comes to choosing a gift for my husband for Father’s Day. Why are men so hard to shop for?! Every year, I type in “Father’s Day gift ideas” in my search engine. Every year, I get the same suggestions.
No, my husband doesn’t always wear cuff links. Yes, he already has a rugged case for his mobile phone. And I guess he could use another mug. Right? Well, you know what? Not this year! Some of the best gifts are the ones made with love. I am always whipping up soaps and body scrubs. I figured, “Wouldn’t my husband like that too?”
My kids and I got busy in the kitchen and made these Men’s Essential Oils Soap Bars. They smell absolutely divine. The soaps are made up of frankincense and patchouli. They have a beautiful glimmer to them all thanks to the mica coloring powder we used. I love that we created these as Easy Homemade Essential Oils Soap For Men a family.

This is the best soap I have seen lately. I know this would be a special treat for any guy for Dad’s Day. Men are so hard to shop for so this seems like a great idea.

Those soaps look like such a great gift idea! I’ve never made homemade soaps before, but would love to try to sometime.

That is such a great gift idea! It’s thoughtful, it’s easy, and it’s a gift for both of us. He’ll love the soap, and I’ll love how he smells. Perfect!

I haven’t made any soap since I was a child. These soaps look pretty, I know someone that would have enjoyed making them for Mother’s Day.

I’m thinking this would be a great gift for my husband… but then I just might have to steal it. I bet it smells amazing.

That’s a great idea. Very pretty and I’m sure it smells wonderful. What does the rubbing alcohol do for the soap making?

My husband has been talking about switching to bar soap. This would be the perfect gift for him this Father’s Day. Nothing says love like homemade, especially if it really is something they have been wanting!

This is going to be a nice gift for the “hard to gift” men in my family – my brother and eldest cousin. I am not really crafty but this homemade essential oils soap looks easy enough for me to do!

I like using essential oils for making products. You can switch them up depending on your purpose.

Great idea for a small gift. And a huge thanks for letting me know that I can find all the ingredients at Amazon. Couldn’t be easier to get everything I need. I think that several people I know are going to be getting hand made soap.

When you make soaps you can add some oatmeal for scrubbing purposes. Good soap for gardeners.
Dana Rodriguez saysJune 27, 2018 at 10:41 am
I have never tried making soap but I love the detailed instructions you have. These look really nice and simple to make!

I like the look of these soaps. And that they are scented for men. They’re good looking enough to display.
