When it comes to the holidays, I think of family and traditions. When I was growing up, my mom cooked and baked a lot of our meals from scratch. With 6 kids, and 2 adults, it is hard to please everyone in the crowd! One staple mom always had in her kitchen was a jar of Ragú® Pasta Sauce. Although this is still a favorite in my house, we have made a few changes to mom’s original recipe. My daughter loves a white Alfredo sauce and my husband loves bacon. To make sure they are both happy, I use the Ragú® Classic Alfredo sauce, add my rigatoni, bacon and cheese and viola, you have my Cheesy Bacon Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake! Ingredients

  • 12 ozs ziti (or any pasta shape)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded, about 2 small chicken breasts)
  • 1 batch Alfredo sauce (see below) ? Tasty tip
  • Bacon
  • 11/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (I used 2% low fat)
  • shredded parmesan cheese
  • fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 tbsps flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth ? Tasty tip
  • 1 cup low-fat milk (I used 1%)
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese (freshly-)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
