We are moving within the next year, so I was putting off the purchase. But with the holidays coming up, we decided we would upgrade now and take the new appliances to the new house.
My oven has been driving me bonkers lately. Sometimes the food was cooked perfectly and other times… well, not so much. And my fridge is the pits! It is probably 20 years old. It isn’t big enough for my growing family. I needed a fridge that offered more space and some fun bells and whistles. We decided to head over to our local Best Buy and see what they had in their kitchen appliances area.
I have always considered Best Buy as my “go-to” for our new appliances and I have never been disappointed. As my hubby and son looked at the new gaming products, I was talking to the Best Buy Service agent. He helped me focus on the needs of my family. Who is cooking? How old? Do we have rushed days for sports? Are we using a slow cooker? All the questions led me to the greatest buy I have ever made.
We decided on their line of GE appliances in the Profile Series. I love that they have a unified appearance that is easy to mix, match and make completely mine! We chose the GE Self-Cleaning Freestanding Gas Convection Range in the Stainless Steel/Gray. I love the Edge-to-edge cook top. It is perfect for cooking for my family or a large crowd during the holidays. It gives you a large cooking surface with extra room for pots and pans of all sizes.
I can move my cookware easily from burner to burner. I think my favorite feature is the extra-large, integrated reversible cast iron grill/griddle. It is perfect for cooking a big breakfast on Christmas morning! It is the ultimate in cooking versatility! I can cook up to six grilled cheeses on the industry’s largest integrated griddle. Then I can flip it over to grill my favorite foods.
Another reason I love the GE Profile Series are the gorgeous clean lines, minimal curves and a streamlined look. They will blend in perfectly with our kitchen. My everyday routine becomes amazingly simple with their next generation features. Their brilliant touches are the answer to my real-life needs I didn’t know I could have! Isn’t she gorgeous?! I fell in love instantly! This baby has tons of space for our fresh and frozen foods and beverages. The doors open out to reveal your chilled goods, and the lower section pulls out to reveal your frozen items. It has two Humidity-controlled crispers drawers that extend the life of fresh fruits and vegetables, reducing waste. The Quick Space shelf is as a normal full-sized shelf. But, it also easily slides down for storage of tall items. CI am so excited that I can brew coffee from the dispenser with the Keurig K-Cup brewing system. My guests and I can enjoy fresh, filtered water for our coffee or tea every time with no need to refill. Isn’t that cool!
