You Can Help The Habitat For Humanity Home Is The Key Program Raise Money And Awareness

December 27, 2019 by Kelly Leave a Comment

Habitat For Humanity Home Is The Key Program

In April, Habitat for Humanity’s nationwide cause movement returned. Every year, Habitat for
Humanity holds its “Home is the Key” campaign. It addresses the nation’s rising affordable housing crisis. You can read my post about last year’s Habitat For Humanity Home is the Key Program HERE!

Habitat For Humanity Home Is The Key Program 6

With your help, the Habitat for Humanity Home Is The Key Program will generate support to raise funds and ensure that housing is accessible to everyone. There are a few ways you can participate:

You Can Help The Habitat For Humanity Home Is The Key Program

First, you can easily donate online to show your support. All you have to do is visit
habitat.org/homeisthekey. From there, you can make a donation.

Habitat For Humanity Home Is The Key Program 4

I’ve teamed up with O-Cedar, who will donate $1 to Habitat for Humanity for every
ProMist MAX Microfiber Spray Mop sold to any U.S. retail channel in the U.S. from now until
May 31 st.

Raise Money And Awareness

You can also donate by visiting in-store or online at any of the Chico’s FAS brands. For instance, at Chico’s, for every sale of a signature Slub Tee Shirt from April 1 st to May 31st, funds will support Habitat for up to $100,000.

Giving Back Is Easy To Do

At White House Black Market, on the same dates, they will donate $5 from the sale of each gift card over $25 – for up to $50,000 in donations. If you love shopping at Soma Intimates, then you’ll have the chance in giving back as well.

From April 1 st to May 31 st , Soma will donate $5 from the sale of each gift card (with a value over $25) for up to $50,000 in donations.

Furthermore, there are other great retailers participating in the cause. At Home will donate $4.55 per coaster from the sale of select coaster sets.

Home is the Key

Starting March 28 all the way through mid-May of 2019, Habitat for Humanity will be launching
their Home is the Key Campaign. Home is the Key is a campaign that helps raise awareness on the affordable housing crisis in the United States.

Unfortunately, unaffordable housing is becoming more and more common. Habitat for Humanity wants to put it to an end. Every family deserves a home and together, we can make that a possibility.

Make Housing More Affordable

Did you know that one in six families in the U.S. pays half or more of their income for housing?
This makes it very difficult to afford other necessities like food or clothing. In fact, nowhere in
the U.S. can a full-time employee on minimum wage afford a one-bedroom apartment.

Making Housing Accessible For Everyone

Habitat for Humanity’s mission is to make housing accessible to everyone. Children of
homeowners make fewer visits to the emergency room for health problems. They’re also more
likely to succeed in school.

O-Cedar

For the second year, O-Cedar will be proudly supporting Habitat for Humanity for their Home is
the Key campaign. To encourage healthy and clean homes, O-Cedar will donate $1 for every
ProMist MAX Microfiber Spray Mop sold to Habitat for Humanity International.

The ProMist MAX Microfiber Spray Mop

The ProMist MAX Microfiber Spray Mop allows you to clean your floors fast. It boasts a two-
sided microfiber pad and it’s absolutely amazing. It is capable of grabbing dust and dirt while
the red scrubbing zones tackle tough floor messes.

Cleaning Is A Breeze

It’s also a breeze to use! When one side is dirty, you just have to flip it over and continue cleaning. How convenient, right?! What I also love about the ProMist is that it’s so much more environmentally-friendly than other disposable mop pads.

Reusable Means Sustainable

The refills on the ProMist are washable and reusable – whereas others must be thrown away after a single use. Also, the ProMist is safe to use on all hard floors including tile, laminate and hardwood. Perfect-o!
