All opinions are mine alone. #HolidayTreatMaking #CollectiveBias Growing up, my favorite cereal was Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies®. My favorite snack was either a Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® treat or a Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tart. Now I am a mom, and my kids have the same love for Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® as I did! One of my kids favorite snacks is a combination of my two beloved childhood snacks. My Brown Sugar Cinnamon Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® Treats Brownies.

I grew up in a house with six kids. Although mom and dad didn’t have a ton of money to spend on us, they somehow were able to make the holidays a magical time. The amazing scent of fresh pine and baked goods would greet you when you walked in the door. My sister and I would lay next to our tree, watching the lights and dreaming of sugar plum fairies.

Now that I am a mom, my love for the holidays has deepened. I now see them through my children’s eyes and the magic is still there! And just like my mom, I love to bake our favorite snacks during the holidays. Every year I make snacks for my family, friends and Caitlin’s school. Last year, we made my White Chocolate Peppermint Kellog’s® Rice Krispies® Treats for Caitlin’s Robotics team. They were a huge hit.

This year, I am going to make them my Brown Sugar Cinnamon Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® Treats Brownies. They are easy to make, and combine my favorite snacks from when I was a kid. We always have a family size box of Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® on hand since we have it for breakfast several times a week. During the holidays, I stock up on plenty of Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® from Walmart (find your closest Walmart.) This way we have plenty for our cereal bowls and for our holiday treats!

Brown Sugar Cinnamon Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies®Brownies supplies

I love these Brown Sugar Cinnamon Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® Treats Brownies! Not only are they easy to make, they are so darn good! If I make a batch and leave them on the kitchen table, they are gone before the end of the day! The basic Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® treats needs three ingredients and a few easy steps. In my house, as I am sure in yours, they are loved by kids and grown ups alike.

And this is one recipe kids of many ages can help you make. Mine love to stir the marshmallows into the Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies®.  I encourage you to play with the basic recipe and make it your own. Maybe you can combine a favorite childhood snack with the Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® Treats like I did!

Those look delicious and dangerous! I would have to wait to make those for a camping trip where we are hiking to wear off the calories or make them as a gift and keep just a few.

You took two of my favorite treats and put them together. Tonight my kids are making brownie-cookies. This brownie-rice crispy bar sounds super yummy. I like it!

Not sure how I feel about the brownie part. However I absolutely love the brown sugar cinnamon krispie treats! My daughter is so picky. She doesn’t like too much variation on her chocolate.
