When I am eating healthy, I need a solid reason to have a cheat day. I count my calories pretty tightly, so if I am going to blow the bank on a dessert, it better be something spectacular! Valentine’s Day is one of those days I allow for a sweet indulgence, and red velvet is one of my favorite flavors. If my husband and I go out to dinner on Valentine’s Day, I make sure the restaurant offers a few desserts that are hard to resist.     We love Red Velvet, I just made some Cake Mix Red Velvet Crinkle Cookies (and Strawberry too) for the first time after we enjoyed the Chocolate version at Christmas, and they were a hit! We really enjoy trying out new dessert recipes!
