I’ve been having lots of fun experimenting with different types of flavors lately, especially wiht my Instant Pot. There are all sorts of spices and flavor profiles out there. The sky is the limit with what you could do to prepare your wings.

I think what makes them unique are the key ingredients that keep them Asian-inspired. Think: east meets west. The tablespoon of fresh ginger adds such a unique touch. Not to mention, they take under 30 minutes to prepare. Score!

Instant Pot Asian Chicken Wings Recipe Ingredients:

1 pound of chicken wings
2 tablespoons of toasted sesame oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon ginger
2 tablespoon sesame seeds
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon powdered or fresh ginger

Steps 1-3: Add sesame oil, soy sauce and rice vinegar to Instant Pot.

Step 4: Add white sugar.

Steps 5-8: Add brown sugar, ginger, sesame seeds and garlic.

Steps 9: Add hoisin sauce.

Steps 10-11: Add chicken wings and toss in mixture.

Step 12: Set Instant Pot to high pressure and set timer for 15 minutes. Close lid and make sure it is off the venting function.

Step 13: Add wings to a baking sheet and place in over under broiler for 3 minutes.

Step 14: Turn and broil an additional 3 minutes.

Take wings from oven and serve with celery, dressing of choice or eat them just like they are. So good!
