Recently while traveling – my husband and I had the pleasure of staying at one of Nashville’s luxurious hotels. Offering a new meaning to the term “Southern Hospitality”, the Hutton Hotel in Nashville offers a new and impressive boutique elegance with sleek and contemporary design.
When entering the hotel – I was taken in by the charm this stop had to offer. Its welcoming service made me feel as though as if I was one of the only people in the hotel. Their attention to detail makes it hard for one to easily get lost of the feeling of being spoiled.
Located in the heart of Nashville, this modern up to date hotel offers plenty of local attractions for passing tourists. With places like The Grand Ole Opry, Music City Center and Ryman Auditorium just a few block away – The Hutton offers a prime location for music lovers to enjoy the area, while making your way around. The Hutton is also centrally located near Tennessee’s State Capital – which allows travelers to visit on its normal schedule.
Once we were able to make our way to our room, we were pleasantly surprised to find that this 247 room – 52 luxury suite hotel offers every customer top notch accommodations
such as hi-tech amenities and custom-designed furniture that leaves you breathless. Each room offers video on-demand, led mirrors, lap top safes, and even large work desks with led lighting. Not only are you met with custom bedding for each room – but stylish granite bathrooms that offer rain showers. It was absolutely refreshing for us to have chosen such an elegant hotel like The Hutton.
We were also very impressed to find that The Hutton also includes a “pet friendly” environment. Not only does the staff accommodate every visitor’s needs, they also offer amenities for your pets as well. With service such as in-room menus, complimentary Hutton treat, bedding, and food and water bowls, The Hutton has it all covered. This is a great service for any traveler who brings their faithful companion along for the ride.
Making our way around the hotel we managed to find ourselves attracted to some of the other great amenities this location has to offer. If you’re finding that you wish to be
completely pampered by all The Hutton has to offer – then it’s recommended you make your way over to the Spa location within the hotel. There, you will find yourself with a variety of signature options to completely relax and rejuvenate. The Spa offers anything from a Swedish massage, to stone therapy, couples massages as well as Seaweed Body Wraps. Spa treatments are offered in 60, 90, and 120 minute sessions and are affordable for anyone looking to just escape for a moment of time.
Another attractive feature about this hotel is its path to being “Green”. Recognized by the Tennessee Hospitality Association for Green Initiatives, Hutton is Nashville’s greenest hotel. This repurposed office building went eco-friendly and spared no stops along the way. The Eco Disc elevators in the conference/event center reduce energy consumption by 70%, as well as their Low Albedo roofing system – which is designed to absorb and sustain heat. With LED or fluorescent lighting throughout the hotel, Digital shower thermostats (Suites only), and highly renewable bamboo flooring and furnishings throughout the Hutton, the hotel has learned to listen to its customers.
Finally after a long day of making our way around all the sites to see and experiencing all that The Hutton – and Nashville had to offer, we were able to enjoy a delicious dinner at the 1808 Grille. This elegant and spacious restaurant offers plenty of room for dining, and customer service that is impeccable. The award winning “farm to table” cuisine offered by Chef Jake Strang offers global flavors that uniquely blended with Southern appeal. Offering breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner menus – the 1808 Grille as an item for everyone. If you feel like you want to have a little quiet time – most of 1808’s menu items are available 24 hours a day.
Overall, if we were to place a rating system on this stay, The Hutton would receive a welcome 4.5 stars from us. It’s most certainly become a location that we intend to visit again when our travels allow us to. If you’re heading to Nashville anytime soon – it’s recommended you make your reservation at The Hutton. Be sure to stay social with the Hutton Hotel and like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.
