I have gotten more interest in a more natural approach to our beauty products. If I can make them at home, I am all for it! I use my Homemade Essential Oils Muscle Ache Ointment almost every day. It is so effective that going to the gym is never a burden. Even my husband loves it, and he’s never keen on applying ointments, moisturizers,
etc.
Healing Muscle Ache With Oils
If you have used essential oils before, I think this recipe is perfect for you! We have found a lot of uses for them in our own home. Of course, I can only speak for myself, but we have found releif from many health issues. I hope when you make this Homemade Essential Oils Muscle Ache Ointment, you wil find the same relief I did!
Supplies
- ½ cup coconut oil
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup shea butter
- 1 teaspoon ground or powdered ginger
- ¼ cup beeswax or soy pellets
- 5-10 drops rosemary essential oil
- 5-10 drops lavender essential oil
- 5-10 drops muscle ease essential oil
- 1-ounce metal or plastic container
Directions
Step 1: Add the coconut and olive oil to a medium glass bowl
Stwp 2: Add the ginger to the bowl
Step 3: Melt and add the shea butter to the bowl
Step 4: Add your beeswax or soy wax to bowl and heat in 30 second increments until the contents are
melted. Whisk or stir ingredients together.
Step 5: Add your essential oils to the bowl.
Step 6: Mix well
Step: 7: Portion your salve into your container. It will solidify as it cools. Store in a cool place so your salve won’t melt in higher temperatures.
