If you are a regular reader, you most likely know I am striving to live a healthier life. Among the changes I have made are eating on a sensible food plan, exercising, meditating and drinking more water. I am super excited to say I have lost 12 pounds since March and am still losing! I feel so much better too! I have more energy and am sleeping much better at night.

Summer Detox Waters Are Delicious, Refreshing and Healthy!
One of my favorite additions to my healthy lifestyle are my favorite summer detox water recipes. They are simple to create and have been said to be effective in flushing your body and helping your organs function better.

Watermelon Mint: This is so good! It combines the sweetness of the melon with the zing of the mint. This one is said to help with liver function and improve digestion.

Raspberry Lemon Mint: This is one of the kids favorite summer drinks. They prefer this over just about any other beverage I could offer them. This detox drink is known for its anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and fights free radicals.

Apple Strawberry Spice: Love the combination of sweet and spicy with this summer favorite. Look for the cinnamon to help with regulate your blood sugar and rev up your metabolism. The strawberries help with anti-aging and the apples are packed with B complex vitamins!

Lemon Orange Nectarine: What can I say about this yummy citrus detox water. This one is rich in vitamins and is a great way to start your morning.

When I think about the health benefits of these summer detox water recipes, I think of how we can cleanse the earth. I think about sustainability and the Earth’s environment.
