All opinions are mine alone and should not be taken as medical advice. #FindRestEasy #CollectiveBias I have a confession to make…I am jealous of my husband’s sleeping habits! He can sleep wherever, whenever. Seriously! He can sleep at a movie, a music festival (it happened), in a car, plane, train or anything or anywhere you could imagine. For me? I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep if I were in a bed made of feathers with unicorns fanning me while I slept. I have had this issue for as long as I can remember. So, I decided to find a solution.

So, I decided to head over to my local Walgreens and pick up a few items to help me with my insomnia. Thankfully, they had some products with their in store promotions that I knew would help with my sleep problems. I grabbed a bottle of Advil PM, which helps with my occasional lower back pain as well as with falling asleep. I also bought a bottle of Nexium 24HR frequent heartburn treatment (which does not contain a sleep aid.) I just knew this would help with my nighttime acid reflux of mine!

For the nights you don’t need the pain relief from the Advil PM, you can grab a box of Emergen-C Emergen-Zzz Nighttime Sleep Aid with Melatonin (These statements have not been evaluated by the food and drug administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.) We love our local Walgreens because we feel they are really committed to helping their customers feel good, from the moment they wake up to the moment they fall asleep at night.

When my kids were little and they couldn’t fall asleep, I would use a homemade sleep pillow for them. I still use one myself, especially if I am traveling. It only takes a few materials and it is super easy to make. These also make a really nice handmade gift!! You can also use them for sore muscles by popping it into the microwave for 20-30 seconds.
