DIY Poop Emoji Soap Recipe For Kids

Until now that is! You can make hand washing fun by making this cute DIY Poop Emoji Soap Recipe For Kids

Chances are you are familiar with the always popular poop emoji. If you ask the kids, they will tell you it is their favorite. I admit it, I use it probably a little too often at times, and the poop emoji never fails to convey exactly what I want to say!

I honestly can’t think of a way to teach little ones about hand washing that is more fun than this Poop Emoji Soap! It is as cute as a poo can be, and it makes the process nothing short of hilariously irresistible for anyone!

This Poop Emoji Soap recipe comes together easily and is made with essential oils for a wonderful fragrance. You can find a variety of molds on amazon; I have included links, and should you make a purchase I will earn a small commission at no cost to you.

I love the Poop Emoji molds from the Rosanna Pansino line for this soap but you can also use smaller molds for smaller soap poops if you have those on hand.

Making homemade soap is not as overwhelming as it might seem. In fact, you can get the kids involved with the process and they are going to love it! They are probably going to want to share the fun Poop Emoji Soap with their friends, so anticipate another soap making session in your near future when you begin the process!

Ingredients:

1 1/2-pounds clear melt and pour soap cut into cubes
1 tablespoon jojoba oil
10-20 drops of turmeric essential oil
Brown mica powder
1 tablespoon brown cosmetic glitter
Poop soap mold
Spray bottle of rubbing alcohol
Medium sized microwave safe bowl or measuring cup

Instructions:

Steps 1-2: Add 24 cubes (each cube is approx. 1 ounce) of the soap base to a microwave safe bowl or measuring cup. Melt in 30 second intervals, stirring after each until it is completely melted. Add 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil.

Step 3: Add turmeric essential oil to bowl. This oil has many benefits, including powerful anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It can also reduce joint pain and inflammation. When used in aromatherapy, it can relieve depression and anxiety.

Steps 4-5: Add the brown mica powder and whisk ingredients until thoroughly incorporated.

Steps 6-7: Spray bottom of mold with rubbing alcohol. Sprinkle a bit of the glitter into the mold and allow alcohol to dry a few seconds.

Step 8: Carefully soap mixture into mold.

Step 9: Spray top of soap to prevent bubbles from forming.

Step 10: Allow to harden at least 2-4 hours. Make sure there are no ripples when you blow on it. Carefully “pop” the soaps from the mold. Store in an airtight container until ready to use.
